My Mama Yoga

Help to prepare your mind and body for the journey of birth, find comfort through pregnancy, and build a community of other mamas with prenatal yoga. Through the physical postures of yoga, breath work and relaxing meditation, your body and mind will feel ready to bring your baby into the world in whichever way you choose.  We begin each class with a conversation about the current state of our pregnant bodies and then tailor the movements and practice to meet the needs of each participant, finding an experience that can be gentle or challenging as suits the needs for each mother.

Class is 75 minutes long - meets every Monday at 7:15pm - $16 drop-in or $85 for a six class package. Taught by Registered Yoga Teacher and trained prenatal yoga instructor, and professional doula, Laura Grace Zetlan. All yoga experience levels are welcome.

My Yoga Baby

& My Yoga Tots

My Yoga Baby: Yoga for new moms and babies age 6 weeks to crawling - Create community and get your body moving safely with this yoga class for new moms and their babies. Gently reconnect with your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles while practicing close to your baby. We recommend that you begin this practice after consulting with your care provider regrading resuming physical activity.

Class is 60 minutes long - meets every Friday at 11:00am - $14 drop-in or $75 for six classes. Taught by Laura Grace Zetlan. All yoga experience levels are welcome.

My Yoga Tots: Yoga for crawler to two years old - This yoga class for our youngest yogis, is an experience to learn, grow and have fun through songs, stories, rhyme and play, all while discovering age appropriate yoga postures and breathing techniques. As a little one's mobility increases and their perception of the world grows, yoga is a great way to create awareness of their growing body and learn to breath through the difficult moments of an expanding mind. Child and caregiver will work together to explore and play in this fun, interactive experience.

Class is 45 minutes long - meets every Friday at 10:00am - $12 drop-in or six classes for $65. All experience levels are welcome.

Babywearing Fitness for Moms w/   CarryBean RVA

Babywearing Fitness for Moms is Richmond, Virginia’s first and only babywearing fitness class. Our scalable fitness classes include cardio, strengthening, toning and stretching all while wearing your infant or toddler. The class is geared towards Moms as postpartum health is discussed.  For FAQs about class please visit:  http://carrybeanrva.com/details/.  Please note that children may not be worn front facing for safety reasons.

The Women's Hospital MyBirth Prenatal Yoga - Henrico Doctors' Hospital

  • The Women’s Hospital knows that yoga helps prepare your mind and body for the journey of birth. Our uniquely designed curriculum helps expectant parents find comfort through pregnancy, while building community and gaining tools to achieve your best birth.
  • Through the physical postures of yoga, breath work and relaxing meditation, your body and mind will feel ready to bring your baby into the world in whichever way you choose.
  • We begin each class with a conversation about the current state of our pregnant bodies and then tailor the movements and practice to meet the needs of each participant, finding an experience that can be gentle or challenging as suits the needs for each mother.
  • We will take time after each class to introduce topics important to expecting parents that may include guest lectures and information sessions pertaining to pregnancy, birth, postpartum and parenting.
  • Our class is 75 minutes long - Taught by Registered Yoga Teacher and trained prenatal yoga instructor, and professional doula, Laura Grace Zetlan. All yoga experience levels are welcome.
  • The Women's Hospital MyBirth Prenatal Yoga starts Thursday, May 18, 2017, and will meet every other Thursday of the year.
  • The cost is $14 per class. To guarantee a space in our class, pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
