PRENATAL YOGA IN THE MYBIRTH COMMUNITY STUDIO

Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal yoga is a great way to prepare the mind and body for birth and beyond. It is our intention to create a sacred space that allows you to connect to other birthing people and your baby through group discussions, gentle movement and breath work. With the physical postures of yoga, journaling and meditation, your mind & body will feel ready to bring your baby into the world in whichever way you choose.

Taught by Kate Hopkins, Labor + Delivery Registered Nurse, yoga teacher, Craniosacral therapist and Body Ready Method Certified Pro. Class is held in the MyBirth Community Studio, where everyone gets a chance to create community, ask questions, get modifications, and tune in with their pregnant selves. Open to all experience levels, all stages of pregnancy, and all birthing people. Our certified yoga teacher will help you safely connect with your breath, body, pelvic floor, and core.

Kate’s movement practice is always changing. Iyengar yoga is a big influence, and she’s currently inspired by GOATA movement and Pilates. She views movement as a source of nourishment and play, and she is constantly in awe of the human body.
